Fr Michael O’Sullivan M. Afr. a past pupil of Cistercian College celebrated the Silver Jubilee of his Ordination to the Priesthood

Today the community was delighted to welcome past pupil of Cistercian College, Fr Michael O’Sullivan M. Afr. to preside at the Sunday Eucharist on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of his Ordination to the Priesthood.  Fr Michael and his family, friends and members of his society joined the monastic community, the staff and students of the College and the local community for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Fr Michael’s Ordination to the Priesthood in 1991.

Born in Kilrush in County Clare, Fr Michael attended CCR from 1977-82.  He joined the Society of Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers) and following ordination in 1991 worked in Arab North Africa for a decade before moving to the Holy Land where he worked for another ten years.  His most recent appointment has been in Apostolic Vicariate of Southern Arabia where he was Financial Administrator.

We congratulate Fr Michael on reaching this milestone and wish him many more years of priesthood.  As multos annos!
